Gamer Blogs for Gamer's Wives?

K is usually the one forwarding me all the funny geek videos and gaming articles because he follows Kotaku, Joystiq, and the like. But they're a little too hardcore for me because I don't play enough games for the reviews to be interesting to me. I've been a longtime reader of PlanetJune and SpriteStitch, and recently I picked up Geek Crafts and Pfangirl. So my questions for you are:
  1. What is your all-time favorite blog to read? (any genre)
  2. Do you have recommendations for geek-related blogs?

Random Chairman Meow pic because there aren't enough on this blog

Not sure. But I do want to know, is this white machine the transporter for white cats? Their point of origin perhaps? So white, so clean. ;-)

Lol, Chairman Meow has never done that before, so maybe I did catch her in the act of teleportation! Hence the "I'm so innocent" expression?

Well, the only one besides knitting blogs (which are super geeky in their own way) that I can think of is Pat Rothfuss' blog: http://blog.patrickrothfuss.com/.

I say his blog because he is a pretty geeky guy and he has some geeky posts and is a fantasy book author. He hasn't posted in a while which really bemuses me because it's out of character but I think his blog is worth a look!

P.s. He wrote Name of the Wind and the Wise Man's Fear.

Ooo, what knitting blogs do you read, LeeAnn? Good call on Patrick Rothfuss; I had forgotten about sci/fi and fantasy authors. K religiously follows his blog, as well as Brandon Sanderson's and George R. R. Martin's, because he wants to become an author one day himself. One dream among many. :)
