All About Mii

The combination of work stress and P90X with K in the evenings has been killing me. I haven't even touched my crocheting for the past week or so! It's like I come home and the fatigue just transforms me into a blob of uselessness.

Luckily, I have a reserve post idea up my sleeve. K has a very giving personality and will randomly buy things for his friends and family if he happens to come across something he knows they'd like. I, on the other hand, like to plan out my holiday generosity, so I am more likely to find something for K in February and then squirrel it away in my super secret hiding place until his birthday in the summer. I also keep a list in my PDA of gift ideas for each loved one so that I won't be left high and dry on their special day.

However, last year I was absolutely flat out of ideas for K. He's just so picky (like me) about what he wants, and to make things even worse, he habitually memorizes game release dates so that he can pick up favorite titles as soon as they hit the shelves. Luckily, Sara happened to mention that she had once ordered a custom-made Mii toy figure for Ben's birthday. All you have to do is submit pictures of a Mii avatar on Nintendo Wii from various angles and a few weeks later, voilà, a 3D version of that Mii arrives at your front door! I think the company Paul Pape Designs may have more information on the actual process or materials used, but suffice to say, K was quite impressed with the quality and uniqueness of having his own action figure. So store this idea away if you're looking to celebrate an extraordinary occasion with a favorite gamer of yours. ^_^

Those are so awesome!! The gamer's wii mii looks EXACTLY like him and I'm sure he would get a kick out of having his own little action figure too! I'll have to think about that...maybe for his birthday coming up in September. Thanks for the idea! :)
