Metroid Pumpkin

Happy Halloween! Unlike previous years, K and I aren't really dressing up for the occasion out of laziness. Plus, I didn't realize that pumpkins only last a day or two after you carve them, so this year's creation already got sacrified to the garbage goblins. However, I do have pictures of K's masterpiece that he made last year for his company's annual contest.

That's right, you're seeing Samus' helmet from Metroid Prime 3! I'd never heard of 3D pumpkin carving before, so it was shocking to see these shapes just pop to life under K's careful ministrations. (His tools looked more like they came from an evil dentist's office than from a modeling kit.) Can't wait to see what he comes up with next year!
