Baby Link Costume from Legend of Zelda

I finally finished it! After starting this project back in February, I actually completed the baby Link costume from the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker game, just in time for Halloween. Check it out!

I'm surprised at how well it turned out. I still can't believe I made a complete outfit from head to toe. It was one of the first times I've ever knitted a sock (well, a baby bootie), and I survived making a heel flap with the wrap and turn technique.

Link kinda looks like an elf to me, so I bet I can get away with Dexter wearing it again for Christmas. Hmm, I wonder what kind of geeky paraphernalia I should make for him next. :)

SO cute! I totally think you should get the costume out for Christmas too. Your recent knitting and crochet accomplishments are very inspiring. I have three kids in school and I still can't seem to find the time to finish stuff!

Thanks so much, both of you! I'm on a mission to finish my long time projects, but it's so hard to resist starting new patterns. ^_^;;

Too cute! I love it! I do have a quick question, I don't knit but I crochet. Could you give me the dimensions on the belt, hat, and bottle holder? I think I can figure them out in crochet, but its for a friend's baby so I can't just measure as I go lol

Sure thing! I just followed the dimensions on the pattern. The belt was about 15" long and 1" wide. The hat was 14" tall and 13" in circumference. The bottle strap is about 21" long (including the quiver section) and 2" wide. Can't wait to see the final result!
