Welcome to the World, Dexter!

Whelp, baby Dexter is finally here! My due date had come and gone without a peep, so a week or so later, my doctor recommended that we pop my water to get some contractions started. Yup, they sure started alright... and I lasted about 3 hours before screaming for urgently requesting an epidural. :) We had a few minor scares and an almost C-section, but K was texting people for prayer and God's helping hand was very evident. Check out the wonderful result:

Ahhh, he's so cute, I just want to nom on his little toes!
I've never been one to swoon over babies, but after having one of my own, I find myself so in love with him that it brings me to tears (that or it's all those postpartum hormones ^_~).

Anyway, just wanted to share the good news with you and thank you for all your support and well wishes during the pregnancy. Now if you'll excuse me, someone is waking up soon and will be wanting a midnight snack. :)

Congratulations!! He looks beautiful. Good work, Momma!

Is it wrong for a stranger on the internet to shed happy tears over a healthy new baby? If it is, I don't want to be right.
